The Cairn seeks to operate as an extended family, with patterns of life emerging that include:
Laying foundations. Monthly, 1st Monday, from 7.30-9.00 pm, for prayer, worship, teaching and vision sharing. Our current theme is Deeper Truth, Greater Grace. Ongoing, weekly prayer and worship continues on the other Mondays. 2nd Sunday lunch aims to be family-friendly and inclusive, and includes a short time of sung worship and prayer.

The guitar club meets here every Tuesday evening. We enjoy writing new songs, making a joyful noise to the Lord, drinking tea, and praying for each other.
Other key connection points with the community include: Sunday at the Inn, 4 pm on 1st Sunday, a joint family service with the Holy Cross congregation at the adjoining Inns Court Centre. 1st Saturday community breakfast at the Newry Walk centre (the former Baptist Church building), 9.30 am onwards. Also, Thursday cafe church at St Barnabas, 7-9 pm. Plans for a Journeys course in the autumn are starting to take shape.
The philosophy of The Cairn is that there is always room at the Inn, so we will always look for creative ways to serve and accommodate people, as a first instinct, rather than turn people away or be constrained by buildings.
