The Cairn
The Cairn is an innovative, faith-based, residential community in Inn’s Court, one of the most deprived areas in South Bristol. The Cairn is the new name for the old vicarage, which was abandoned in the late 1990s due to social problems.
With the adjacent community centre and
church also facing major challenges, the Cairn seeks to be:
a catalyst for positive change in Inn’s Court, inspiring fresh
hope; and
a signpost to people in pursuit of a peaceful way.
The Cairn also aspires to be:
a place of healing, expressing the compassion of Jesus through hospitality, prayer, healing and soul friendship; and
a place of encounter, with Jesus, and with the life of the Spirit.
